Yes, you read that correctly.. we can hardly believe it ourselves!!
It’s been ten years since we put together the first $FiveDollahFunk$ event at a tiny little art studio way out in Pomona, CA.
Over the years, we’ve gone from the art studio, to the dance studio, to warehouses and lofts all over LA!
So many great venues and a few crazy ones (anyone remember the live alligator?!)
We’ve met so many great friends over the years, many of which are still holding down the dancefloor at every event (Front Row crew where you at?)
So many smiles, laughs, cheers, whistles, and even first dates and engagements (same couple!) have all gone down on our dancefloor.
To say we love our crowd would be an understatement.
That said, it’s time to come together once again, this time in celebration of our 10 year anniversary of the funk.
We’ll be sending out more information shortly.. but wanted to get the word out to you all so that you can make plans to attend, and spread the word to friends and family from the past to ensure we’re all together on this special night. We’ve got a lot of surprises in store for this one.. rest assured you won’t want to miss it!
